Siklo is a Pilipino word meaning “cycle” which stands for upcycle, recycle, and circular sustainability. Pilipinas connotes it is made by merry folks in their tropical sun, picturesque islands, and ‘admiring the typhoon’ way of life. It is in this setting that the brand was conceived.

Backstory
Years back, founding couple Lyndon and Clarice Ecuacion, in their typical backpacking adventures to islands around the Philippines, improvised a solution in protecting electronic devices and cameras using “interyor” – local name for inner tube, because back then, dry bags were not yet widely available. The inner tube fashioned into gadget bag served them well. Naturally waterproof, it beats the waves and rain when crossing the islands on outriggers and tough enough for a rugged island lifestyle.
Headway
By and by, it became a sustainable enterprise as conscientious consumerism begun trending. Established in 2012 and overtime had upcycled over 40 tons of discarded tire inner tube. Island backpacking evolve into island bikepacking, and further into adventure carcamping where some Siklo designs were tested to the elements.
Designs
